The New Chance Fund provides Chicago public schools with $100k gifts to enhance access to enrichment programming during the school day. The NCF invites schools to participate based on criteria like truancy, enrollment, graduation rates, and more. With implementation support from the Children’s First Fund, schools use funds to support building and space upgrades, technology and equipment acquisition, curriculum enhancement, or professional development over the 3 years of the grant.
